Global Giving Open Challenge

GlobalGiving is an innovative online fundraising platform for nonprofits of all sizes around the world. Since 2008, GlobalGiving’s Open Challenge has helped more than 2500 organizations raise over $8 million from thousands of donors.

To secure a permanent spot on the site and get access to a range of benefits, you are invited to join the Open Challenge. Participating organizations are challenged to raise $5000 from 40 donors for their GlobalGiving Project by reaching out to existing supporters and prospective donors.

GlobalGiving provides your organization with access to their online fundraising platform, complete with a donation manager, fundraising tools, trainings, and resources, and give you the chance to try growing and engaging your networks online.

Eligibility criteria:

  • The organization must be a registered 501(c)3 if in the US or a registered nonprofit in another country
  • The organization must be able to update donors through an online project report at least every three months on the projects it lists on the GlobalGiving platform
  • The organization’s staff must be able to communicate with the GlobalGiving staff in English
  • The organization does not discriminate in selecting it’s beneficiaries or staff
  • The organization must satisfy GlobalGiving’s application requirements
  • The organization acknowledges that their ongoing listing on GlobalGiving’s platform is dependent on completion of the Open Challenge

GlobalGiving is an innovative online fundraising platform for nonprofits of all sizes around the world. Since 2002, GlobalGiving has raised $194,510,148 from 487,138 donors who have supported 12,934 projects.

To secure a permanent spot on the site and get access to a range of benefits, you are invited to join the Open Challenge. Participating organizations are challenged to raise $5000 from 40 donors for their GlobalGiving Project by reaching out to existing supporters and prospective donors.

GlobalGiving provides your organization with access to their online fundraising platform, complete with a donation manager, fundraising tools, trainings, and resources, and give you the chance to try growing and engaging your networks online.

Workshop on Financial Management and Social Accountability for nonprofit and charitable organizations

Visthar, a secular nonprofit organization, committed to enabling women, children and other marginalized sections their rights is pleased to announce a ‘Workshop on Financial management and social accountability for Non-profit and charitable organizations’ . Over the last six years this program has been well attended and well received among NGOs, Civil Service Organizations(CSOs) and other Charitable Organizations(COs).

The workshop aims:

  • To enable participants jointly understand and evolve systems for programme and financial planning, monitoring and evaluation.
