In India, since the Independence, there has been a concerted effort by the government to reconstruct the rural India and the rural sector of the economy. But most of the efforts have yielded few or no results, leading to a large number of unemployed youth and giving birth to problems like migration to cities. In order to address the above gap and unleash the talent of new breed of rural youth and consumers, Head Held High Pvt Ltd. was conceived. Head Held High Services (H3S) is a Rural Access Accelerator that provides career access to rural youth, business access to rural entrepreneurs and rural market access to corporates. With a vision of ushering economic prosperity to rural, H3S’s mission is to enable 2 million Rubans to live life with their head held high, over the next 10 years. ‘Rubans’ is a term coined by H3S to define neo-rural youth with raw talent, entrepreneurial spirit, global aspirations and access to technology.
Through our training program, called Ruban Shakti, we transform low literate rural youth into English speaking, computer savvy, knowledge economy individuals using innovative methods in a short time span.
Salient features of Ruban Shakti are:
Our rural marketing services, called “Ruban Bridge”, delivers last mile reach to corporates, bringing their products and services to rural consumers. It also builds capacity in rural entrepreneurs. This platform directly supports rural entrepreneurs by providing them access to products, services from the markets, giving a platform to connect, share and learn access to resources. Corporates get an access to indigenous talent as dealers and distributors as well as access to rural market information. For the rural community, it speeds up job creation, regular supply of goods and services through local skills and access to products and services for better education, livelihood, health and lifestyles.
