Overview

The Garhwal region in Uttarakhand is severely afflicted with out-migration of employable youth, due to lack of job opportunities. Similarly, there are many other less developed states in India which are facing out-migration problems. This hampers the economic activity of the state. Thus we at eGramServe aim at generating high quality employment opportunities for rural youth in remote and hilly regions of Uttarakhand by setting up BPO centers in the region. We first provide in-house vocational training to the rural youth and then hire them in our BPOs established in these regions. We are attempting to create a long-term employment in hilly regions by enabling employees to earn a higher income and ensuring community benefit through co-owning these BPO centres.

Model

We leverage the untapped human resource and low-cost of operations in the region to provide extremely competitive BPO services. We engage the local community as a significant stakeholder and our employees being from the same communities feel a great sense of pride and responsibility towards the organization. This enables us to provide consistent quality & service delivery levels over the long-term. We set up BPO centres and then train the enrolled youth. The youth are then placed within our BPO centres.
