Polio Eradication Initiative

The CORE Group Polio Project (CGPP), a USAID and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded polio eradication project, conducts community-based activities designed to strengthen supplemental polio immunization, routine polio immunization, and surveillance of Acute Flaccid Paralysis in seven countries: Angola, Ethiopia, Kenya, India, Nigeria, Somalia and South Sudan.

The CGPP will be conducting a 30-cluster immunization coverage and KAP survey in project areas between May and July 2017 as part of a global final evaluation. Interviews will also be collected with key informants and stakeholders.


This consultant will (1) review the quantitative survey results and data from the program countries in order to compare previous findings from 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2015 to the 2017 survey to measure progress on project indicators as well as to examine potential associations between various program factors and key outcome variables, (2) Review qualitative findings in the country and integrate them with quantitative results (3) Conduct further data analysis as deemed necessary (4) conduct a limited desk review of other available documents, surveys, and reports, (5) summarize the findings in a comprehensive global evaluation report.
