[Livemint] CSR spending: Making the roads safer

According to the data secured from the ministry of road transport and highways, one road death occurs every 3.7 minutes on Indian roads. Taking this into account, auto makers  have now been spending a substantial part of their charity directed at improving road safety. Adwait Joshi, Senior Manager at Samhita expresses his thoughts about how the auto sector in India focuses on community development initiative as a part of their CSR spending since the problems of the people in those communities in turn affect them as well.
