Samhita is facilitating a watershed development project as part of a CSR initiative by DHFL.
The project will adopt five villages in the Phulambhari block of Aurangabad for a period of three years to implement a holistic watershed program in partnership with the NGO, Dilasa.
The project aims to adopt traditional and scientific methods of water conservation. It will cover multiple aspects like soil and water conservation, livestock management, sustainable agricultural practices and also build the capacity of communities to tackle the severe water scarcity in the region.
