Anand Utsav 2011 - Edutainment Programme by Aastha Parivaar

Aastha Parivaar –a federation of 14 community based organizations by sex workers across Mumbai and Thane – is an organization formed by, of and for sex workers. Living in shadows, these are women who aspire for a dignified, empowered existence and violence free society.

Aastha Parivaar is organising an edutainment programme "Anand Utsav 2011" on 5th November which will have an array of skits, songs, folk dances and children’s performances. Donation passes are available for Rs 1000/-, Rs 500/- and Rs 300/-. The proceedings from the donation passes will be used to support HIV positive as well as elderly sex workers.
